Editorial Policy and How We Test

This page shows exactly how we research, test, write, update, and correct every guide on EasyGB.com, so you can judge for yourself whether to trust us.

Key Points

  • We test every guide on a real Android phone before we publish it.
  • We check facts against primary sources first, such as WhatsApp’s Help Center and Google’s documentation.
  • We never invent version numbers, file sizes, ratings, or test results.
  • We fix confirmed errors and show the date of every update.

Our Core Standards

  • Accuracy: we confirm every version number, date, size, and requirement before we publish.
  • First hand testing: we follow every method ourselves instead of copying other sites.
  • Honesty about risk: we always explain ban risk, malware threats, and privacy limits.
  • Clarity: short sentences, plain words, and numbered steps.

How We Research a Topic

  1. Study real questions. We look at what readers ask in search results, comments, and our inbox.
  2. Read primary sources first. We start with WhatsApp’s Help Center and official announcements, Google’s Android documentation, and the mod developer’s own release notes.
  3. Check security research. We read reports from established firms such as Kaspersky and ESET, and trusted tech news outlets.
  4. Bust myths. We list claims that other sites repeat, check each one, and say plainly when a claim is false.

How We Test

PlatformHow We Test
Android phoneWe install the latest build on a phone running a current Android version, using a secondary number
UpdatesWe update from the previous build and check that chats and media survive
Backup and restoreWe back up, reinstall, and restore to confirm the steps work
Windows PCWe run the APK inside a current Android emulator such as BlueStacks
iPhoneWe check every claimed iOS method against Apple’s current rules

We follow each guide from start to finish and record the time it takes, any errors, and the fixes that work. If a step fails in testing, it never appears in a guide.

Files get extra checks, which we explain on our Download Safety page.

How We Choose Sources

PrioritySource TypeExamples
1Official sourcesWhatsApp Help Center, Meta announcements, Google and Android documentation
2Developer channelsThe GB WhatsApp developer’s official release notes
3Security researchKaspersky, ESET, and other named security firms
4Trusted tech newsEstablished outlets that report on WhatsApp and Android
5Community reportsOnly after we confirm them ourselves

When sources disagree, we say so and explain which one we trust and why.

How We Write

  • Short paragraphs, plain words, and numbered steps
  • A visible “last updated” date on every guide
  • Facts kept separate from opinions, and opinions clearly labeled
  • No invented version numbers, file sizes, ratings, reviews, or test results
  • No promise that any app is “ban proof”, “100% safe”, or “undetectable”

  4. If the fix changes our advice in a big way, we add a visible note to the page.

Use of AI Tools

We may use AI tools to help with research, outlines, editing, and translation. However, AI never replaces our testing or judgment. A person on our team checks every fact, tests every method, and approves every page before it goes live. We do not publish automatically generated pages at scale.

Editorial Independence

Ads and affiliate links may help fund the site. Even so, no advertiser, sponsor, or developer can buy a better verdict, a higher ranking, or the removal of a warning. We have no link to WhatsApp, Meta, or the GB WhatsApp developer.

Our Safety Rules

We always publish

  • Warnings about fake sites, fake builds, and scams
  • Ban risk notes on every download page
  • Pointers to official WhatsApp support for account problems
  • Removal notices when a file fails our checks

We never publish

  • Cracked or repacked apps
  • Tools to read, track, or hack someone else’s WhatsApp
  • Guides for spam, harassment, or scams
  • Downloads hidden behind fake buttons or deceptive ads
